After setting inclination to 55°

Up until today (02 August 2022), our test array was inclined at nearly 80° from horizontal. That gave degraded performance. We set it this morning to 55° and saw a large difference. You can see this in the graphs. We’ll set it to about 35° in the next few days.

We noticed that a typical sustained measurement of heat ‘harvested’ was in the region of 630W/㎡. That compares favourably with the maximum possible from just over 1000W/㎡ we measured with an irradiance meter.

Changing the inclination of the array to 35°and increasing the temperature delta should allow us to exceed 700W/㎡.
